Content is king

You heard the saying countless times that “Content is King”. Well, I can second that for sure. Adding content to your Salam Business Club profile is key. In fact, it’s a matter of success or failure.

Look at my profile. At first impression it looks fairly complete, confident, detailed and willing. Willing to connect, willing collaborate, showing interest and making effort. Surely you’d want to connect with me?

Then again look at this contact or profile below. Would she seem hard-working, motivating, interesting and patient?

I recommend including your profile picture. Salam Business Club profiles seem incomplete without them. Also try to be consistent with your photo – if you have a photo on other social networking sites it’s a good idea to use the same photo everywhere. Don’t forget to spell your name correctly – be consistent  it’s important for SEO and for building your online brand.

Connect with me! We’ll teach one another some new tips and tricks?

Be Sociable, Share!

I totally agree with what Khalil has stated here. I still remember glancing at Khalil’s profile, his blogs and ofcourse his website for the first time when we got introduced to each other. They were the primary sources which introduced me to this great guy. Full of motivation and as energetic as ever.

Your Profile is the key to your success. It shows your commitment level, your degree of seriousness. One need to be confident enough in portraying his own self first, then only he can generate postive vibes about him in the social networks.

However a slight caution, don’t go over with those descriptions as It may create a confusion in the readers mind.

Happy networking !!

Excellent approach Khalil. And credits to Raunak for being the first to comment. 😉

I would like add that a picture says more than 1000 words. So – remember mostly the picture will tell more about you than the fields. Be careful, when picking it.

For instance, looking at Khalil’s picture – it is expressing his cool personality and background. It gives you some indications about his personality and his expression through words emphasize it and make it trustworthy. Do also consider that in Social Networking – a picture is a vital element in the trustworthiness barometer. The smile is just a dot on the i.
