If you are on the lookout for a new job or want to move into a new and challenging role you could really increase your chances by applying for a job via Salam Business Club. Here for anyone who is looking for a new job is some help and advice on applying for a job this way.

To start with you should make sure that you have written and save your CV on the website. Make sure that you have put the time and effort into creating a winning CV that will showcase all of your talents to potential employers. By doing this you will have given yourself a much better chance of getting positive responses from any jobs that you have applied for.

Next you need to click onto the Jobs tab that can be found near the top of your dashboard screen. Once you have clicked on this you will then be taken to another screen where you can then click onto the Search Jobs tab. From this screen you have several different options: Search Jobs, Advanced Search, By Company, Saved Searches or Saved Jobs. Here is a little more information on what each of these options means and how you can use it to find a suitable job.

Search Jobs – from here you can search for jobs that you are interested in using job keywords, job location and the company industry that you would like to work in. You can alter these as you are searching and you can also set email alters to send you jobs that meet your search criteria straight to your inbox.

Advanced Search – this page is similar to the search jobs page however you are able to add much more information to make your job search even more refined. For example in addition to the three criteria you could search for on the previous screen you can also look for specific job roles, the type of company would like to be employed in, the minimum monthly salary, your career level, employment status and type and the language you would like the job application to be written in. Once again you can also choose to have jobs that meet your criteria sent to you via e-mail as they are posted.

Jobs by Company – on this screen you will see a full list of all the different companies that have positions available to apply for. In brackets next to the company you will see the number of positions that are open at any one time. To find out more about the positions that are offered you can simply click onto the company and this will take you on to their jobs page. Here you will be shown the type of job and the location of the job as well as other details that relate to the post. From here you can print out the page with the job details, learn more about the company, save the page to look at later, email the information to a friend or apply straight away.

The two other sections Saved Searches and Saved Jobs are there so that you can save any searches or jobs that are of interest to you so that you can refer back to them later. However you must keep in mind that applications for jobs have a cut-off point and you must make sure that you apply before this or your application will not be viewed.

Should you decide to apply for a job using any of these searches you can simply send the company to CV that you have already saved on the website. You will also get the opportunity to add any other information that you think is relevant to the post that you have applied for. Remember to make sure that your CV contains all the information that you would like your potential employer to know about you. Your CV is the first impression that new employers will get of you so it is essential that you create a great first impression and show them that you are an individual that could be an asset to their company.
Search for jobs regularly and make sure that you set e-mail alerts that will tell you each and every time a job that meets your criteria is posted. Do this and you will soon be applying for jobs using our website and could soon be successful in your search.
